This week on Show us your home we will travel to Buenos Aires, home to Patricia, who wished to share his apartment with all Decoesfera readers.

The first image we see, taken from inside, and gives us an almost complete distribution. To the left of the entrance are two other doors, which give access to the bedroom and bathroom respectively and found the room background, a common space that houses kitchen, work area and a splendid terrace.

The area for kitchen is located in the center and is completely open. In the front of the wall lies the cooking area, side columns flanked by two perfectly integrated. The island is home to storage, sink, dishwasher and working area, while the high counter at the same time allows to hide the service area and provide a pleasant space where they can eat up to four people.

Patricia tells us how the choice of lamps is based on simplicity and efficiency, choosing simple lines and light bulbs in warm colors. Here we can see for example, a detail of the lighting of the bar, with one lane of three lights for the installation of which has been extended from the spot of light was situated, without covering it with a slash and duct tape.

The floor is an element that gave utmost importance, and tried to have great weight as a unifying across the apartment. I like land use colors, brown and beige, red and orange, to give it that warmth that, by virtue of being an apartment with both white and very modern equipment, often is lost …

Most of the furniture was bought at great price in Buenos Aires Design, a discount store, except the modules of the room to be commissioned as Evviva a Brazilian brand that offers high quality finishes and original textures.

For the study corner has been earmarked for a very special, large and near to the terrace, which receives natural light, shaded when necessary by sliding panels. And Patricia is studying architecture, for what happens there many hours poring over their projects.

Of course, to take a break, nothing like going to the terrace, sober and beautiful in itself. Its lines are highlighted even more with the two pots near the rail, while the chair is a touch and color burst.

We retraced our steps and termimanos tour in the bedroom, where Patricia used beige, black, white and purple. The headboard stands out dramatically impact the wall, painted herself like the rest of the house. Wanted the blinds, just as in the room, not highlight and blend into the walls because otherwise greatly constrain long-term decor would make the space seem even smaller.

Even I have several projects in mind, I placed a large painting above the sofa that I highlight this wall and a carpet under the furniture that I somehow visually divide the area. In the fourth missing even more projects, I put in one of the walls a slate, and I was thinking to paint myself as anything else. Let’s see when I have time off and start the design of these ideas.

Maybe someday we can return to visit the home of Patricia and see how the finished. So far we have considered precious and we are grateful that we have opened their doors. Check out the Washington DC apartments
