Miami has a mainland and one on a series of islands or “keys” over her forehead on the ocean: Miami Beach.

Since its inception, Coconut Grove ushered in the most creative, the art scene in Miami. Located on the bay, has a marina and a coastal walk that brings much of the life of the area. Art galleries, cafes, small and large stores, a mall and many restaurants abietic.

Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne is an island located a few miles off Miami and connected to it by a bridge: the Rickenbacker Causeway. There lies the Miami Seaquarium and many sports facilities: tennis, marina, water sports. The vast majority are private services for the inhabitants of the island.

Downtown Miami and Brickell

Brickell Avenue is the central business district in Miami. It is located south of Downtown and the Miami River. Although the area began as “banks” (the profile of buildings of different shapes and colors you see in the movies), today has won life as a center of shops, cafes, restaurants and prestigious hotels (usually travel business).

Another important street is Flagler Street Downtown, concentrating much of the commercial movement of the city. In the Downtown area of work daily to 190,000 people and many use the Metromover to go from one extreme to another in this area.
